Chicken Lollipops

Ingredients

  • Chicken Drumsticks- 6-12
  • Poultry Rub: As needed
  • Barbecue Sauce: 2-3 Cups

Instructions

  1. Trim Chicken, push meat down and remove skin around bone, tendons and small bone
  2. Wrap exposed bone with foil and season lollipops with rub or seasoning of your choice
  3. Let rest 30 minutes to 1 hour in refrigerator
  4. Smoke 30 minutes at 225 degrees F.
  5. Cook 35-45 minutes at 350 degrees F or until internal temperature reads 165 degrees F.
  6. Remove foil and dip lollipops in barbecue sauce
  7. Cook 10 minutes at 450 degrees F or until internal temperature reads 175 degrees F.
  8. Let rest 5-10 minutes and enjoy.
