How To Make Pig Candy

  • Bacon
  • Karo Syrup or Maple Syrup
  • Brown Sugar
  • Nutmeg or Chili Powder or other Spice


  1. Preheat Smoker or Oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Place parchment on cookie sheet then cooling rack
  3. Lay bacon out with some space between each piece
  4. Brush each piece with Karo or Maple Syrup
  5. Cover bacon with Brown Sugar
  6. Add spices
  7. Cook at 350 degrees F for 30-45 minutes or until bacon has absorbed sugar and crisped up
  8. Remove and let cool 5-10 minutes
  9. Move from cooking sheet to different cooling rack
  10. Enjoy!
